JKMEF, JKFMPHWA express gratitude to LG for addressing pending issues

JAMMU, June 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees’ Federations and Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Workers Association expressed gratitude to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and his administration for addressing the pending issues of Female Multipurpose Health Workers of J&K.
In a joint press conference held here today under the presidentship of Sushil Sudan and Neelam Kumari, both the leaders congratulated all the members for achieving one more milestone and conveyed gratitude to the J&K Govt led by Lt Governor Manoj Sinah for addressing 40-year-old long pending demands of Female Multipurpose Health Workers Association who were struggling from the last four decades for settlement of their salary.
Now, the present administration paid heed to genuine demands of FMPHW and others getting salary from 2211 Head. Settled this issue in one stroke of pen.
Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation welcomed the decision of State Administrative Councils for regularizing the salary of 2211 Head from the State coffer.
The Federation also expressed gratitude to Rajeev Bhatnagar, Adviser to LG; Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Dr Mandeep K. Bhandari Pricipal Secretary to LG for taking keen interest for settlement of salary of 2211 Head. Sudan also lauded the role of Principal Secretary Finance, Santosh D Vaidya Administrative Secretary Health and Medical Education Dr Syed Abid Rasheed and Director Family Welfare Dr Tabasum Jabeen (Retired) and Madan Lal Chief Account Officer (Family Welfare).
The Federation hoped that Female Multipurpose Health Workers of UT and employees of 2211 Head now will get their regular salary from the Government coffer and put their best efforts to serve the humanity. It also requested the Government to expedite process for issuance of final order in this regard and also release the pending salaries of the workers.
Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, Pawan Singh Jamwal, Anita Bhagat, Suriya Akhter, Madan Lal, Kamlesh Kumari and others were also present during conference.
