JAMMU, Dec 1: One day conference of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Jammu Province was held today at Block Kot Bhalwal, under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president JKMEF, Jammu province.
The Health employees from different categories discussed various issues with leaders and pointed out some important facts which need immediate redressal. All the employees, in one voice, raised their issues and acquainted the leaders of JKMEF with problems they are facing on day to day basis and pressed hard for getting their solution.
Further, all the Health employees assured the Federation for giving their full support and united hand in achieving any set goal for the welfare of Health employees. The major demands, highlighted by the employees, included; amendment of SRO 20 dated: 20-04-1992 which is pending in the Administrative Department for the last 20 years, creation of posts of Head Assistants at Block level and Section Officers at CMO/ Dy CMO’s Office, permanent solution of Salary Head 2211 in Health and Family Welfare Department, creation of post of LHVs in new PHC and 50 percent quota of Health Educator at par with MMPHW, clearance of DPC of all categories working in Health and Family Welfare Department, up gradation of Head Pharmacist to Block Pharmacy Officer and District Pharmacy Officer, enhancement of FTA Rs 45/- to 5000/- and issue RMP after retirement to Basic Health Employees, creation of posts of Head Ophthalmic Technicians in all District Hospitals, insurance and registration of all the Vehicles plying under SHTO.
On the occasion, new body of JKMEF for block Kot Bhalwal was also elected with Jaswant Singh as block president, Raman Sharma as senior vice president, Kuldeep Langeh as vice president, J P Singh as general secretary, Harmeet Singh as office secretary, Om Dutt as publicity secretary, Neeraj Dhomania as organizer, Abhinandan as joint secretary, Deshbandhu as cashier, Vikram Singh as secretary and Angrez Singh as chief advisor.
Vinod Kumar Sharma, secretary general, Vishal Patil and Dilip Choudhary were also present in the conference, which was attended by all Health employees of Block Kot Bhalwal.
