JKMEF seeks action against MC Bishnah Chairman

JAMMU, July 12: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) has demanded action against Chairman of Municipal Committee (MC) Bishnah for his alleged misbehavior with a female doctor.
The demand was raised during a meeting of the Federation held today under the chairmanship of its State president, Sushil Sudan. All the participants unanimously demanded lodging of FIR against the Chairman Municipal Committee Bishnah.
Stating that doctors and paramedical staff are being harassed day-today in their duty by Chairman of MC Bishnah, Sushil Sudan appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik to take necessary action against the MC Bishnah Chairman. “If the action is not taken against him, JKMEF will be left with no other option but to go on strike throughout Jammu Province,” he added.
Neelam Kumari, president, FMPHWA, Harpal Singh, president, X-Ray Technicians Associations, Choudhary Jarnal Singh, working president, JKGPA, Choudhary Aslam, president, Lab Technicians Association and many others attended the meeting.
