JKNPP accuses J&K Govt of reducing Z plus security of Prof Bhim Singh

JAMMU, June 1:  Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party(JKNPP) today accused Jammu and Kashmir Government of reducing Z Plus security of its chief patron Prof Bhim Singh and sought intervention of Governor N N Vohra in this regard.
“We urge intervention of N N Vohra, Governor of J&K to ensure adequate security to Prof Bhim Singh who is in  security category,” JKNPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia here said.
He, however, accused the state Government of withdrawing escort vehicle from Prof Singh.
“Another vehicle provided to him was also withdrawn in his capacity as former legislator,” he added.
Mr Mankotia further said all  protectees are provided double escort and similarly, all ex-legislators are provided with one vehicle.
Prof Singh, the only  protectee in JKNPP is being discriminated as part of vengeance, he alleged.
He said Prof Singh had left Jammu for Sudhmahadev where National Integration Camp is being held.
JKNPP has requested the Governor for his intervention, said Mr Mankotia.
