UDHAMPUR, Dec 25: Launching a blistering attack on the BJP-PDP coalition for perpetuating bias against Jammu region, JKNPP chairman Harsh Dev Singh today announced to intensify the Party’s campaign, particularly against the puppet Ministers of Jammu, for pushing the Dogra land to terminal decline.
He said that Jammu based mandated leaders should not be misled by the peoples’ silence as their subdued anger had reached its crescendo and could have an enormous ripple effect in the days to come. It was a sort of lull before the storm, roared Mr Harsh while addressing a rally at Dhema, Majalta.
The Panthers Party rally started from Manwal and after brief halts at Battal, Bharmara, Kail, Paldai anmd Sunal culminated at Dhema where it was addressed by several Party leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh said that Jammu electorates had given an overwhelming mandate to BJP under the mistaken belief that this party would salvage Jammu Pardesh and ensure them justice with honour and dignity. He said that the electorates of the region who had pinned high hopes in the BJP were utterly dis-illusioned to see it making one somersault after the other for power sake. He said that BJP had not only discarded its age old philosophy and principles but had crossed all limits of timidity to remain glued to power. BJP has not only surrendered on the issue of Art 370, Art 35 A, ‘Ek Nishan Ek Vidhan’, CM from Jammu but also completely submitted itself to the tutelage of PDP whose agenda is being promoted collectively by the two parties, he alleged.
On the local issues of tehsil Majalta, Mr Singh called upon the concerned authorities to ensure early repairs of dozens of damaged transformers in the tehsil, repairs of damaged roads, early completion of ongoing schemes in R&B, PMGSY, PHE, I&FC and provision of adequate staff in schools. He also said that fight for Degree College Majalta shall be taken to its logical conclusion.
Others who spoke on the occasion, included Dharam Singh Bittu Sarpach Satrairi, Rajesh Sharma and Sarpanch Bharnara.
