JKNPP misleading people of Jammu: Munish

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Aug 11: While reacting to the recent public statement issued by JKNPP chairman and former MLA, Harshdev Singh that “NPP is only genuine, accredited voice of Jammu region”, BJP State general secretary, Munish Sharma termed it as one more attempt to mislead the people of Jammu region by shedding crocodile tears.
He said that Harshdev Singh was elected MLA from Ramnagar assembly constituency on the mandate of NPP for three consecutive terms and even he remained Cabinet Minister in the State but could not come up to the expectations of the people of his constituency and hence he was shown the door.
Munish said that both NPP and its elected representatives, including Harshdev Singh, did only lip service but on ground no genuine work of welfare and development was done. It was because of this reason that all the three MLAs of NPP namely Harshdev Singh, Balwant Singh Mankotia and Yash Pal Kundal got defeated.
“These NPP elected representatives did not care for the promises and assurances made to the people and hence were punished”, he said adding that the people are the best judges.
