JKNPP stages protest against petrol price hike

JAMMU, Sept 19: Zonal President J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP), Neeraj Gupta here today staged a protest demonstration against price hike of petrol and diesel.
The protesters were pushing motorcycles and scooters with their hands to express resentment.
Speaking on the occasion Gupta said that price hike of petrol and diesel has added to the miseries of common man.
“Before 2014 the cost of LPG cylinder was Rs. 414, the cost of petrol and diesel was Rs. 61 and Rs. 55 respectively,” he said adding that the Central Government has no policy to control the prices of essential commodities.
Sonu, Parmjeet Singh, Amar Chand, Ramesh Kumar, Tarsem, Simranjeet Singh, Suneel, Balbir, Sanjay and others were also present in the protest.
