JKNUF nominates working president

JAMMU, Dec 9: Jammu Kashmir National United Front (JKNUF) a political party launched by displaced Kashmiri Hindus in 2008 has nominated its working president.
Rakesh Handoo one of the founding members of this political party has been elected as working president besides being national spokesman by JKNUF national convenor, R.K Mattoo, president (North India) P.L. Razdan.
R.K Mattoo, while addressing the media said that in all likely hood the Assembly elections in the UT of J&K are round the corner and it is time for JKNUF –to gear up for forth coming elections. He added that the party is in process of nominating more office bearers for its smooth functioning. Rakesh Handoo, appealed the community members registered as voters in various parts of India to surrender their vote at their current respective places and register from their original constituencies in Valley. He said Kashmiri Pandit vote matters in many constituencies if the community votes enmass. He added that JKNUF is the only political party to ensure that exiled Hindus of Kashmir get their rightful political representation.
Handoo appealed the Election Commission of India to simplify the process of voting for displaced Kashmiri Hindus scattered across the globe.
