JKOPA celebrates Printer’s Day with children of Bal Ashram

JAMMU, Feb 25: J&K Offset Printers Association (JKOPA) celebrated the birthday of the Father of the Printing, Johannes Gutenberg here today.
Gutenberg was a German blacksmith, goldsmith, printer and publisher who introduced printing to the world and his birthday is celebrated as Printers’ Day.
JKOPA members celebrated this day with the children of Bal Ashram, Ambphalla in Jammu by giving small amount of cheque for their daily needs including meal, chairs etc. These children are in the age group of 4 to 16 years.
The member of the Association who were present on the occasion were, president JKOPA, Sudesh K. Gupta, senior vice president Rahul Mahajan, vice president Sharat Sharma, general secretary Avnish Anand, secretary Rajneesh Koushal, finance secretary Satish Raina, joint secretary Kukoo Ji Bhan, IPP Ravi Gupta, former presidents Arun K Gupta and Pankaj Sethi, Satish Jandyal, Sanjay Soni, Vipin Mahajan and Avinash Gupta.
The Management Committee members of the Bal Ashram thanked JKOPA for its contribution towards the needy children of the Ashram.
