JKOPA elects new team

JAMMU, Oct 29: J&K Offset Printers Association (JKOPA) elected its new office bearers for the period of 2017-2019, during its 8th annual general meeting held here today.
The members were elected unanimously in absence of any nomination for the office bearers. The new team elected unanimously comprises Ravi Gupta (president), Sudesh Gupta (senior vice president), Sharat Sharma (vice president), Rahul Mahajan (general secretary), Rajnish Koushal (secretary), Sanjay Soni (finance secretary) and Satish Raina (joint secretary).
The election was conducted in cordial atmosphere by Rakesh Mehta, chairman, Election Committee, JKOPA.
Meanwhile, the association felicitated AMSG Ashokan, president of All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), and his office bearers including Maninder Singh, vice-president (North), Raveendra Joshi vice-president (West), Arvind Mardikar, honorary general secretary and Ashwani Gupta, honorary treasurer.
Ravi Gupta, while welcoming the guests, highlighted the activities of the Association besides listing the problems being faced by the printers of Jammu & Kashmir. He also enlightened the audience about various activities of the Association.
President, AIFMP, in his speech, said that printers should work hard to achieve their goals and also go for ‘Make in India’– a vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, their aim.
