JKOPA holds meet, discusses various issues

JAMMU, June 26: A meeting of J&K Offset Printers’ Association was held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Pankaj Sethi, to discuss various issues confronting them.
The meeting discussed arrangements for Editor, Punjab Kesari Group and president, Jalandhar Printers’ Association, Vijay Kumar Chopra’s proposed visit to the City of Temples on June 29, 2014.
It was resolved in the meeting that Ravi Gupta, Arun K Gupta and Sanjay Soni would make suitable arrangements for a meeting with Chopra.
In the wake of financial year 2013-14 having come to close, the finance secretary was asked to prepare the accounts for getting the same audited by a Chartered Accountant. He was also asked to start a drive for collecting annual subscription from all the bonafide members of the Association.
Association president also informed the members about 9th National Award for Excellence in Printing 2014, being organized by All India Federation of Masters Printers and RICOH, and hosted by Delhi Printers’ Association at New Delhi on September 20, 2014.
Members were also asked to send entries for the same positively before July 15, 2014.
Lastly, it was resolved in the meeting that the next annual general meeting of the association will be held in the first week of August 2014 after taking approval from the executive body of JKOPA.
