JAMMU, July 5: The 265th Governing Council Meeting of the All India Federation of Master Printers, New Delhi was hosted by the J&K Offset Printers Association in Jammu.
The meeting, which took place in a local hotel here, brought together key stakeholders from various parts of the country to deliberate on crucial issues impacting the printing industry. President, R N Dutta Baruah presided over the meeting, which was attended by other members of the Federation.
The Governing Council pledged to fight for various issues like GST rates on raw material, pollution category, workforce availability for small printers who are on the verge of closure due to high costs.
The president informed the house that construction to the State of the art building of AIFMP Bhawan is going to start soon.
It was a true honour for the J&K Offset Printers Association, Jammu to welcome president R N Dutta Baruah, former president Raveendra Joshi, HGS Umesh Nema, office bearers, GC, GB members, and former presidents from across the country.
JKOPA president Pankaj Sethi thanked the members for engaging in constructive dialogues and collaborative problem-solving to address the needs and challenges of printers on a national level. He also exptended gratitude to the president AIFMP for giving Jammu a chance to host such a successful meeting.
