JAMMU, Jan 11: The All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) and Jammu and Kashmir Offset Printers’ Association (JKOPA) held their 259th Governing Council (GC) and 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) here at Zone By The Park, Jammu on January 6th and 9th respectively.
As per a statement, Sudesh Gupta, President JKOPA, welcomed Ravinder Joshi, President AIFMP and other office bearers of the Federation, from across the country.
He thanked them for giving JKOPA an opportunity and honour of hosting the prestigious meetings in the City of Temples for the first time.
Ravinder Joshi addressed the members about the relevant matters of the organisation. A periodic report was also presented by the honorary General Secretary, AIFMP, RN Dutta Barua.
A road show of PAMEX and a number of presentations were also given by the representatives of various companies, which were attended by the GC members and printing fraternity of Jammu in large numbers.
The members were also enlightened about the upcoming print summit in Mumbai and the next GC meeting to be held at Jaipur in Rajasthan.
Subash Chandra, former President, All India Federation of Master Printers, presented the vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude to the JKOPA for the warm hospitality in Jammu.
The GC was followed by the AGM of the JKOPA, where the members discussed various matters concerning the Jammu printers.
A calendar launch function of JKOPA was also held by Amritsar Offset Printers’ Association and Rajasthan Offset Printers’ Association.
Later, mementos were presented to AIFMP and other prominent members and sponsors of the function.
