JAMMU, Sept 21: A constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) was injured today in a road accident that occurred under the jurisdiction of Police Post Canal Road.
“Constable Ramandeep Singh (posted at SP Headquarters as Dak Runner) son of Rajinder Singh of Chatha was injured when a speeding car hit his motorcycle on which he was travelling,” Police sources said, adding the mishap occurred near Government SPMR College of Commerce.
Sources said that the injured constable was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
