SAMBA, Dec 4: The J&K Police has donated school kits, including school bags and stationery, to students of Government Higher Secondary Schools (GHSS) Sumb and GHSS Bainglar as part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP).
At GHSS Sumb, the distribution ceremony was led by SSP Samba, accompanied by DySP Headquarters Samba, SHO Police Station Samba, and Incharge Police Post Goran.
The event was attended by students, teachers, and school staff.
Speaking at the event, SSP Samba encouraged students to focus on their studies and engage in recreational activities.
He also urged them to stay away from drugs and support the police in combating drug abuse in the community.
In a similar event at GHSS Bainglar, school bags and stationery were distributed to students in the presence of the school Principal and staff.
Both Principals expressed their gratitude to the J&K Police for their generous contribution, which helps improve the learning environment for students.
