JAMMU, Mar 26: Two Drill Instructors of the Jammu & Kashmir Police (JKP) were honoured with commendation medals by the General Commanding Officer of the 16 Corps Lt General Navin Sachdeva during his visit to Corps Battle School (CBS) Bhalra, Bhaderwah today.
Drill Instructors Senior Grade Constable Zahoor Ahmad, CTC Lethpora (Awantipora) and Senior Grade Constable Kewal Krishan from Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur were honoured for their exceptional dedication, proficiency and contribution to training and discipline within the J&K Police.
The commendation medals, awarded by the General Commanding Officer, 16 Corps, signify the exemplary service and commitment exhibited by police personnel Zahoor Ahmad and Kewal Krishan in their roles as drill instructors.
The ceremony, held at CBS Bhalra, was attended by dignitaries, officials, and fellow police personnel. The dedication and diligence of awardees serve as an inspiration to their colleagues and reflect the ethos of excellence upheld by the J&K Police.
Pertinent to mention here that nearly 1000 freshly recruited police officers of the rank of Sub-Inspectors including about 60 probationary DSPs of the prestigious Jammu Kashmir Police Service are undergoing training at Corps Battle School of the Indian Army at Bhalra in Bhaderwah.
