JKP secures property attachment of notorious drug peddler

JAMMU, Sept 4: The Jammu and Kashmir Police in Jammu district secured the confirmation of property attachment of a notorious drug peddler from Toph Sherkhania, Jammu.
A police statement said that a drug peddler, identified as Bobby Mehra, son of Raj Kumar, had become a notorious figure in the area, posing a serious threat to the community.
“His property was initially attached in the first week of August and later sent for confirmation to the competent authority under the NDPS Act and SAFEMA Act, which was successfully obtained,” he said.
Bobby Mehra has a history of drug-related offences and is currently lodged in District Jail Kathua under the PIT NDPS, added the police official.
