JAMMU, Apr 19: J&K Pahari People Movement (JKPPM) has appealed the secular and prominent Gujjar leaders to support the Paharis’ genuine demand of ST status to the community.
In a statement, JKPPM chief executive Shahbaz Khan and veteran Pahari leader Vijay Kochar appealed Ch Zulfqar Ali (Cabinet Minister), Ch Jawaid Rana (MLA), Choudhary Qammar Hussain (MLA), Ch Mumtaz Khan & Choudhary Aijaz Khan (MLA brothers) to come forward and defeat the nefarious design of those Gujjar leaders who are trying to create a wedge between the two communities.
