JAMMU, Nov 10: The Government has relaxed the upper age limit for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE)-2024.
As per a notification issued by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, the upper age limit for the open merit candidates has been set as 35 now. Earlier, it was 32 years.

Similarly, the upper age limit for the reserved category candidates and in-service candidates has been set at 37 years from the last set 34 years and for physically challenged candidates it was set as 38 years from previously fixed 35 years.
Meanwhile, the Commission has also postponed the preliminary examination for the Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) 2024, originally scheduled for November 17, 2024.
As per a notice issued in this regard, a new date will be announced separately.
“In continuation to this office Notice dated October 21, 2024, it is for the information of all the concerned candidates appearing in the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination-2024, notified vide Notification number 04- PSC(DR-P) of 2024 dated July 26, 2024, scheduled to be held on November 17, 2024 (Sunday) is hereby postponed. The fresh date for the said examination shall be notified separately.”
