JAMMU, May 20: To mark the death anniversary of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (JKPYCC) today distributed PPE kits among the workers at various cremation grounds involved in doing the pious act of cremating the dead bodies in the wake of second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
These kits were procured by JKPYCC President Udhay Bhanu Chib and the Youth Congress team led by the Assembly Youth President Congress Raipur Domana Constituency conducted the smooth distribution of the aforesaid kits that are life saviours for the workers risking their lives in the ongoing pandemic.
Udhay Bhanu Chib said, “I salute the volunteers along with other workers out there at various cremation grounds across Jammu who least bothering about their life as well as the risk to their families, are offering the most significant services of cremating the dead bodies of COVID-19 victims.
Meanwhile the JKPYCC President while paying rich tributes to the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary highlighted his contribution to the nation’s development and transformation.
