He advised the Government to immediately come up with political solution of  restoration of reservation in promotions to regain the confidence of reserved categories.

He demanded political solution to the problem.
Ashok Basotra and Piran Ditta appealed for  social unity amongst SC,ST,OBC’s for long term goal of snatching political power from the micro minority  of this country.   They  requested the State Government to immediately file objections in Supreme Court and defend its own Reservation Act or bring an appropriate bill in the ensuing Assembly to make Division Bench judgment null & void.
Dr  Sanjay Bhasin said that Reservation will continue till caste continues in India. He said that SC & STs are entitled for 8% & 10% reservation in direct recruitment but quantifiable data from socioeconomic & educational census of India reveals that only 1.84% reservation in direct recruitment has been extended to the SCs in J&K till date and 2.02% to STs.
