JAMMU, Oct 1: A warm send off was given to Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh on his superannuation by officers, officials and staff members of J&K Sports Council here today.
Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh served in J&K Sports Council for more than 36 years.
Chief Sports Officer, Mohd. Hanif and Head Assistant, Gopal Dass (President low paid JKSC employees union) were present on this occasion and highlighted the efforts put in for welfare of the employees, public, youth by the officer during his service in the organization while posting at different places.
Singh said to reach at this age of superannuation, “I started my voyage in the Sports Council as a coach in 1987 from Sports Stadium, Poonch and experienced many ups and downs, I prodded silently, worked with dedication and higher authority of department recognized my services and I was promoted as Divisional Sports Officer additionally as Joint Secretary Jammu.”
