JAMMU, Oct 3: J&K State Pensioners’ Association (JKSPA) has appealed the concerned authorities and Governor’s administration to settle all pension revision cases forthwith.
Krishan Singh, president of JKPA said that the Association, in a letter addressed to Deputy Accountant general (Pensions) in the office of Accountant General Jammu, has laid emphasis on settlement of pension revision cases under formulation II of Government order No 222-F of 2018 on priority basis.
He said a deputation of the Association had met Deputy Accountant General (Pemsions) on May 16, 2019 and through a memorandum submitted to her, had pleaded for giving priority to such cases, especially the cases of elderly pensioners and the deputation was told that mater is being dealt on priority basis hoping that it may take two or three months to settle all such cases.
Singh regretted that after the lapse of more than three months still many cases are lying pending, which he said, is causing resentment and despair against the slow pace of work in dealing such cases. He urged the governor administration to get all such cases settled forthwith.
