JAMMU, Aug 22: A deputation of teachers, led by Joginder Kumar Digra, Vice President, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association, called on CEO Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore and submitted him a memorandum regarding burning issues of teacher community, like time bound promotion of teachers.
JKTA explained that the main and most important issue of teacher community at present time is early completion of ATD 2022 as many teachers have been displaced in the phase -1 list and they are waiting for their suitable adjustment in the phase-2 list.
JKTA also demanded that Transfer Policy of RRET teachers should be framed as many female RRET Teachers were suffering because of no transfer from their original place of posting even after marriage.
The CEO assured the deputation that all the issues will be looked into. The teachers who were part of the deputation, included Harvinder Singh, Satvinder Kour, Amita Kumari, Sarita Devi and Rajinder Singh.
