JKTA discusses rationalization issue with DC

UDHAMPUR, Oct 7: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association(JKTA), led by its UT President Bhupinder Singh, called on Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai in her office chamber and submitted her memorandum regarding the issue of rationalisation of Teachers in Udhampur.
Chief Education Officer Udhampur, Geetu Bangotra and Assistant Director Planning Darshan Kumar Sharma were also present in the meeting.
Bhupinder Singh said that the Rationalisation should be done in the month of March/April or in the beginning of session so that the students may not suffer. JKTA deputation also discussed the teacher -pupil ratio in the schools and demanded two Teachers in every Primary school and at least four Teachers in Middle School as there are so many online portals which are to be dealt on daily basis by the teachers.
Association also demanded that there should be constitution of five members committee at Zonal level for free and fair rationalisation.
Deputy Commissioner Udhampur gave a sympathetic hearing to the deputation and assured to redress each and every issue.
