JAMMU, May 30: JK Teachers Association has appealed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for regularising the services of ReTs, convert the pending cases of RReTs to Grade- ll/lll Teachers and release their pending salary.
The Association president, Bhupinder Singh said it is very unfortunate that EV Converted ReTs of District Rajouri are still waiting for regularization since 2015 due to none of their fault and concern authorities are not serious to regularise the services of these EV converted ReTs.
Singh said that these ReTs were engaged after fulfilling the prescribed norms and given their honorarium, but their regularisation is not being done for the reasons best known to the concerned authorities. He also mentioned that there is pending status of conversion of RReTs to Grade ll/lll Teachers who have got degrees from out of State (erstwhile) even as these ReTs were regularised and confirmed as General Line Teachers. Now the Government is playing a delaying tactics on their status as a result the families of these teachers are at the verge of starvation since a long, he added.
These teachers were doing their duties and had been appointed by the concerned authorities as per norms. But now the Government is deliberately harassing them in the name of regularisation and conversion while their salaries have also not been disbursed since two years,” he said.
Mr Singh also appealed to DSEJ for making formal adjustment of newly selected ZRP and CRP . He threatened that if the Government does not regularize the services of these ReTs and their conversion within short span of time, JKTA will frame a strategy for further course of action even in the time of COVID-19 and the authorities will be fully responsible for the same.
