JAMMU, May 8: All Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) Employees Union held protest regarding privatization of profit making JKTDC bar at TRC Jammu.
Amid slogans, JKTDC employees assembled in the compound of TRC Jammu and raised slogans against the management for privatizing profit making JKTDC bar.
While speaking, Suresh Sharma, president, JKPDTU warned the management to desist from going ahead with the process of privatizing the profit making TRC bar at Hotel Jammu Residency Jammu and other profit making units of the Corporation.
“The office bearers of the association met with GM (O) on April 5 in this regard, but she has done nothing inspite of instructions from the Vice Chairman of JKTDC”, he added.
On behalf of JKTDC employees union of Jammu as well as Srinagar, Sharma requested the management of the JKTDC to solve the issue otherwise their will be unrest in the organization and GM (O) JKTDC Jammu will be wholly solly responsible.
