UDHAMPUIR, Aug 21: Highlighting their issues and demands, a meeting of JK Technical Employees Federation, Power Development Department, District Udhampur was held here today under the leadership of H D Singh, Provincial President Jammu.
Members from all districts of Jammu Province participated in the meeting and discussed affairs of the Federation, including burning issues like issuance of seniority list of Technician IIIrd vide circular NoCEJ/DPC/ TechIII/A-35/954-87 Dated:13-08-2022 in which the lein has not been maintained as per SSRB merit and also the district Cadre employees have been clubbed in province Cadre.
In the meeting, an appeal was also made to PDD administration for amendment of SRO-381. All members expressed their displeasure over the seniority list of Tech IIIrd, issued by office of the Chief Engineer JPDCL where all the service rules were neglected. The meet requested Principal Secretary PDD to intervene and resolve the issues in a time bound manner.
The Federation also appealed Chief Engineer JPDCL to maintain the seniority of Tech IIIrd in their erstwhile districts as per SSRB merit of their counterparts maintained in Kashmir province KPDCL.
H D Singh appealed all the Matriculate ITI Qualified Technician of PDD across the UT of Jammu & Kashmir to remain united under the banner JK Technical Employees Federation.
Those who spoke in the meeting, included Rajinder Singh, Mohd Ishfaq, Khursheed Ahamed Butt, Sudesh Kumar, Tanveer Khan, Chanchal Singh, Naveen Sharma, Mohd Raffi Kichloo, K P Singh Kapil Dev Singh, Prem Singh, Mohd Rafeeq Bhatti, Mohd Rajaq Paswal, Mohd Latif, Om Parkash, Jarnail Singh, Durga Parshad, Shivchran Singh, Surinder Singh, Parthivi Singh, Yograj Sharma, Shyam Lal Sharma, Vikash Kumar and others.
