JKTF apprises Kabra, Simranjeet of teaching cadre’s grievances

JAMMU, Feb 10: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, led by general secretary Ganesh Khajuria, called on Commissioner Secretary School Education Shaleen Kabra and also Director School Education, Jammu, Simranjeet Singh for apprising them of the problems being faced by the teaching community.
The Forum submitted memorandum demanding suitable adjustment of the Masters repatriated to their home district after serving complete tenure in remote districts, sending back the Masters from other districts to their home district and adjustment of those promoted as Masters and Lecturers in 2014.
The deputation explained that Masters and Lecturers were still awaiting their adjustment even after around a year of their promotion.
The Commissioner Secretary and the Director School Education gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured early redressal of all the problems highlighted by the Teachers Forum.
The deputation comprised of Rajinder Gupta, Satish Dutta, Gopal Singh, Darshan Sharma, Shankar Singh, Ashok Kharyal, Shashi Balla, Jyoti Gupta, Kamani Kumari, Manmohan Singh, Subash Sharma, Kamni Arora, Rajnish Raina and others.
Meanwhile, JKTF district Kathua president, Subhash Sharma has urged the Governor N N Vohra to order cancellation of all transfers and adjustments made by the outgoing Secretary of the School Education Department on January 27.
He also demanded revocation of the Government order on cancellation of all attachments deployment of the teaching cadre.
