JKTF calls on Director Education, discusses issues of teaching fraternity

JAMMU, June 25: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teacher’s Forum, led by State general secretary Ganesh Khajuria, called on Director School Education, Jammu, Rakesh Kumar Srangal and discussed with him various burning issues of the teaching fraternity.
The issues,  which were thoroughly discussed in the meeting included,  early release of the promotion list of Class IV employees and the Laboratory Assistants to the next higher stage by clearing the pending DPC of the cadres,  release the salary of surplus Masters / Lecturers through the respective DDOs where they are working at present, early disposal of all the cases of SRO-43 lying pending in Office of Directorate and its subordinate Offices,  to check and resolve the promotion cases of class IV and Lab Assistants, who were dropped out due to the pick and choose policy of Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division.
After threadbare discussions on all the issues, the Director School Education Jammu told the delegation that the DPC of Class IV employees and the Laboratory Assistants has been cleared and the final orders shall be issued within next few days. Regarding the pending salaries of surplus Lecturers and Masters, the issue shall be taken up with the higher authorities to ease out the method for drawl of pending salaries to prevent further harassment and mental agony to them, he added.
The Director further assured the delegation that he shall formulate suitable method to address all the issues of teaching fraternity in order to streamline the Education Deptt.
The delegation comprised of Yog Raj Slathia, Soorat Singh Toofani, Rajinder Gupta, Ravinder Singh, Darshan Sharma, Rajeshwar Singh, Kuldeep Bandral, Shankar Singh, Sushil Sharma, Sham Badyal, Kuldeep Verma, P D. Singh, Goutam Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Jagveer Singh, Hazra Khatoon, Bua Ditta, Daleep Dingra, Rajesh Slathia, Bharat Bhushan, Pawan Kumar, Sudesh Kumar and others.
