JKTF delegation calls on CEO Samba

SAMBA, July 17: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) led by Ganesh Khajuria its State general secretary called on new Chief Education Officer, Samba today.
The other members of the delegation included Rajeshwar Singh Sambyal, district president JKTF, Samba and Dinesh Singh district president JKRET Forum.
It extended full support to new CEO and expressed the hope that he will work for the betterment of teaching community and assured every possible support for the redressal of long pending genuine demands of the teachers and RET teachers.
The delegation demanded timely release of salary of all cadres under different schemes, detachment of teachers working in office of CEO Samba and different ZEOs, to ease the permission process to undergo higher education for in service teachers, timely regularization of RETs, recording of higher qualification of teachers in service books, and maintaining transparency in transfers.
The CEO assured the delegation that he will make every effort to sort out all the issues pertaining to the teaching community and asked the teachers to work with zeal to achieve excellence in education.
