JKTF demands adjustment of newly promoted Lecturers, Masters

KATHUA, June 6: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum has demanded adjustment of recently promoted Lecturers and Masters in the School Education Department.
A meeting of JKTF was held, here today for discussing the issues. The meet appealed Director School Education Jammu to issue adjustment orders of all newly promoted Lecturers and Masters without further delay.
Expressing strong resentment against pick and choose policy, the Forum threatened mass rallies and protests at all district headquarters if adjustment order of all is not issued immediately. Further, this is discrimination, humiliation and disgrace of all promotees that promotes in Valley have been adjusted while in Jammu their counter parts have to protest for adjustments.
The meet decided to hold continuous dharna in front of DSE Jammu. The date will be announced in a press conference at Jammu within days.
Forum also raised other demands, which included repatriation of Headmasters, Lecturers and Masters to their home districts and their proper adjustment, adjustment of all deployed Masters in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts without pick and choose and  releasing salary grants under SSA and all other components.
Those who attended the meeting included Parveen Singh, A N Thakur, Puran Singh, Surjit Singh, Kuldeep Singh,  Subash Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, Balbir Singh, Devinder Singh and others.
