JKTF discusses arrangements for success of Rath Yatra against NPS

JAMMU, Sept 6: An emergency meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, Chairman JKTF, at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
All the Central leadership of the Forum attended the meeting, agenda of which was to chalk out the strategy for the successful conduct of Rath Yatra, being organized by All India Primary Teachers Federation in collaboration and cooperation with JKTF and which is entering Lakhanpur towards JKUT on Sept 7.
The Rath Yatra has been started from Wagah Border in Punjab covering different States including. The agenda of the Rath Yatra is to mobilize all the employees of the country in general and teaching community in particular regarding the abrogation of NPS and restoration of Old Pension Scheme in favour of all the employees who have been covered under NPS.
The other demand of this Rath Yatra is the uniformity in pay scales as per 7th Central Pay Commission throughout the country.
