JKTF highlights demands, issues of teaching fraternity

JAMMU, May 31: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held, here today under the chairmanship of Darshan Sharma, Secretary JKTFto discuss the burning problems being faced by the teaching community.
The demands discussed in the meeting included; adjustment orders in favour of newly promoted Head Masters as most of posts are lying vacant for the last so many months, DPC of all cadres of Education Department especially Teacher to Master and Lab Assistant to Teachers, regularisation of all cadres of Education Department and bringing Contigent paid workers as well as CPWs under Minimum Wages Act till their Regularisation.
The speakers in meeting appealed to Principal Secretary Education, B K Singh to mitigate the genuine demands at the earliest. The meeting was attended by S Surat Singh Toofani, Rajinder Gupta, Ravinder Singh, Gopal Singh, Surinder Sharma, Mohd Iqbal , Raj Singh , Kuldeep Bandral, Kuldeep Verma, P D Singh, Krishan Sabharwal, Narseh Sharma,Ashok Chalotra, Ashwani Sharma, Subash Sharma and others.
