JKTF takes up issues with Jt Director

JAMMU, Sept 17: The Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF)  took up the issues of teachers, lab assistants, Class- IV employees with the Joint Director School Education Jammu S Charandeep Singh the other day.
The Forum delegation led by Ganesh Khajuria, state general secretary,   called on the Joint Director on Saturday and projected the issues of teachers, lecturers, lab assistants, non-teaching staff and Class-IV employees of the Education department.
The Forum demanded to hold early DPC of lab assistants  to teachers, who have completed three years of service, promote Class IV employees to the post of junior assistants, who are matriculate or 10+2 and also regularize the contingent paid workers as Class – IV employees.
Joint Director listened to the issues of the teachers and others patiently and assured that an early action would be taken in this regard.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included, Yograj Slathia, Rajinder Gupta, Surat Singh, Kuldip Singh, Mohd Iqbal, Ravinder Singh, Darshan Sharma, Balraj Singh, PD Singh and others.
