SRINAGAR, Apr 20: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) is going to hold protests on April 25 against the non-payment of salaries to ReT teachers for the last 8 months.
JKTF spokesman said that the forum held a meeting which was presided over by its Chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani, in which it was decided that protests will be held against non-payment of salaries to ReT teachers.
The statement said that posting of the KAS officer as Joint Director School Education Kashmir and deputation of officers to BOSE outside school education is to usurp the rights of officers working in School Education Department.
At the end of the meeting JKTF appealed the ReT teachers to participate in the protest rally on April 25 against non-payment of salaries.
