JKTJAC demands resolution of burning issues of Teachers/Masters

CHENANI, Feb 11: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) was held here today under the leadership of Zonal President Ajaz Ahmed Wani for discussing burning issues of the teachers.
JKTJAC UT President Vinod Sharma, District President Lekh Raj Parihar, UT Chief Press and Media Secretary Sukesh Khajuria and District Chief Organiser Sandeep Sharma were present in the meeting as special invitees. The meeting was attended by a number of teachers from eight clusters of Zone Chenani, including executive members of JKTJAC.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma demanded the resolution of genuine issues of the teaching fraternity, which include conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/ III; regularisation of ReTs who have completed their 5 years ReT period; comprehensive transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme; conversion of Headteachers posts into non plan posts of Masters; issuance of mutual transfer list of inter district of teachers Grade II/III and provision of permission to Teachers/Masters to enhance their qualifications.
District President Lekh Raj Parihar demanded the issuance of DPC list of Teachers to Masters and immediate release of pending dues of Mid Day Meals.
Zonal president Ajaz Ahmed Wani raised the issue of updating of service books of the Teachers of Zone Chenani and release of CA in favour of teachers who have worked in the area on rationalisation.
Among those present on the occasion, included Jagdish Chander Sharma, Rajinder Singh Katoch, Shankar Singh, Jai Parkash, Shabir Ahmed, Ranjit Singh, Bashir Ahmed, Mohd Ashraf, Ashok Singh, Tilk Raj Sharma, Ranjeet Singh, Vijay Kumar, Vishamber Singh, Kulbeer Singh, Nishat Bhat, Mohinder Singh, Subash Singh, Sanjay Singh, Pardeep Singh, Kafit Ullah, Ram Lal, Rakesh Tripathi, Kuldip Singh, Ravi Kumar, Romesh Singh, Ganesh Dass, Jagdish Chander and others.
