JAMMU, Aug 28: A meeting was organised by Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) at Marh ( Jammu) under the leadership of District President Ravinder Manhas and Zonal President Jyoti Prakash while UT President Vinod Sharma was the special invitee.
The meet urged the Principal Secretary School Education to bring teachers appointed under ReT scheme under transfer policy as mentioned in Government order number 469 Education of 2014 Dated 25.06.2014 and even directions passed by High Court and CAT in this regard.
The meet also demanded immediate revocation of controversial order of repatriation of ReT teachers issued by School Education Department on 25th July as due to this more than thousand teachers are suffering as they are neither at their present place of postings nor on their original postings.
UT Vice President Surjit Chib, Provincial President Jammu Rajesh Jamwal, UT Chief Advisor Sham Sharma, UT Chief Press and Media Secretary Sukesh Khajuria and UT Organiser Subash Chander were the guests of honour. The meeting was attended by a large number of teachers of Zone Marh.
