JAMMU, Feb 23: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee, led by UT President Vinod Sharma, called on Director School Education Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma in his office chamber and highlighted burning issues of the teaching fraternity.
While interacting, Vinod Sharma raised the burning issue of conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III who are waiting for a long time; DPC of teachers to masters; regularisation of ReTs who have completed 5 years of ReT period; issuance of mutual transfer list of left out Districts of Jammu Province and earned leave in favour of teachers/masters whose services for different purposes are utilized during summer/winter vacation .
Director, after listening to the deputation, assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC leadership. He said that Directorate is going to convene a meeting of DPC committee and Divisional level Committee for conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III on 26th of this month in which a representative from Administrative Department will be present.
Others who were present in the deputation, included Rajesh Jamwal, Sukesh Khajuria, Khazan Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Anil Choudhary, Pawan Sharma, Pawan Singh Sambyal, Vimal Singh and others.
