JAMMU, Jan 11: To project their issues a deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) called on Administrative Secretary School Education Dr Piyush Singla here today.
The deputation led by J&K UT President Vinod Sharma interacted with Dr Singla and projected the genuine and burning issues of the teaching fraternity.
The deputation raised many issues including the issue of framing a comprehensive transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme and have been working in the same schools for last more than two decades;
Filling up of posts of ZEOs/Headmasters in the headless Zones/ schools of the UT, issuance of inter district mutual transfer list of teachers Grade II/III and issuance of order of Permission for higher studies to Teachers/ Masters.
Secretary School Education gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to go through the issues raised by JKTJAC leadership for their early redressal.
Among others were the part of deputation included, Reyaz-ur Rehman, Rajesh Jamwal, Sham Sharma Chief advisor, Sukesh Khajuria Chief Press and Media Secretary, Lekh Raj Parihar DP Udhampur, Ravinder Manhas DP Jammu, Khazan Singh UT Coordinator, Sayeed Shahnawaz DP Poonch, Naseer Ahmed Butt Publicity Secretary, Javed Bali Publicity Secretary, Manzoor Khan DP Rajouri, Maik Ashraf , Bhopinder Gupta, Mohd Yaseen , Ajaz Parrey and Mohsin Mir.
