JKTJAC deputation meets DSEJ, raises issues of teaching fraternity

UDHAMPUR, June 24: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC), met Director School Education Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma during his visit to Udhampur for reviewing the functioning of department in the district.
The deputation, led by UT Chief Press and Media Secretary Sukesh Khajuria, Sham Sharma (Advisor) and Sukhdev Singh Sumbria (UT Secretary) raised the burning issues of the teaching fraternity.
The issued, raised during the meeting, included; Inclusion of left out I/C Masters of District Udhampur in the recent DPC, conduct of next DPC of teachers to masters, conversion of left out RRETs to Teachers Grade II/ III, regularisation of ReTs who have successfully completed their 5 years ReT period, release of arrears (time barred) of Teachers and Masters beyond two years period, issuance of mutual transfer lists of pending cases, earned leave in favour of Teachers engaged for summer/ winter camps and for other duties during summer/winter vacation, summer vacation for winter zones and adoption of transparent mechanism in rationalization of teachers.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC representatives.
