JKTJAC deputation meets officers, raises issues

JAMMU, Feb 14: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) led by its president, Vinod Sharma and chairman, Saleem Sagar here today met Special Secretary School Education and Director Finance and discussed the issue of inter district mutual transfer of teachers Grade II/III.
The deputation also demanded enhancing qualification for Teachers/Masters and release of arrears of Teachers and Masters.
Deputation members were apprised that these issues will soon be resolved amicably.
Later the deputation met Directorate School Education Jammu; PO, Vikas Dhar and Chief Accounts Officer, Monika Bhandari and raised the issue of mutual transfer cases of left out districts, regularisation of left out ReTs and conversion of RReTs to Teachers Grade II/III.
Demand of DPC for teachers was also raised and the Director assured to convene a meeting of DPC next week.
