JKTUF, NSGEF condemn new recruitment policy

JAMMU, Apr 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Tribals United Forum (JKTUF) and National State Govt Employees Federation (NSGEF) today condemned the new recruitment policy announced by the Mufti led Government in the State.
In a joint statement issued here today leaders of the Tribal United Forum, an organization of Gujjars threatened to launch mass agitation.   They said this move would badly affect the reservation of SCs and STs. Moreover, the recruited employees would wait for seven long years for regularization. It will also lead to the exploitation of the young educated youth.
Senior leaders Roshan Din Choudhary and Dr Zabeer Ahmed Bajjar  appealed the State Government to withdraw this move otherwise Gujjars would be forced to launch an agitation.
Meanwhile,  NSGEF leaders in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Subash Verma expressed serious concern over the new recruitment policy of Mufti Government and said that it is most confused and unsuitable. The educated youth are not happy with the policy and most of the employees bodies have also not approved it. They demanded that Government should withdraw this policy immediately otherwise, it should be ready to face the consequences. They demanded that the Government should abolish this contract system.
