Srinagar, July 01: JLNM Hospital Srinagar and District Hospital Pulwama which were both Covid hospitals have been opened for the non-COVID services.
DHSK said that the step has been taken on the directions of Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Atal Dulloo
A spokesperson of the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir said both the hospitals were Covid-19 dedicated hospitals and both have started normally.
He said, however, separate facilities for Covid-19 patients have been kept in place in both the hospitals.
Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Rather also visited the JLNM hospital Srinagar in connection with DNB accreditation.
At the hospital, the director formally inaugurated the first of its kind NBE accredited department of medicine after being allocated NBEMS accreditation and DNB seats by the national board of examinations.
Similarly, at the DH hospital Pulwama, maternity services which were running in a private nursing home, have been started at the hospital following a decrease in positive cases.
