JAMMU, Jan 3: JMC Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta and Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma along with Pankaj Magotra, JMC Commissioner here today interacted with volunteers of Dhyan Foundation.
These volunteers included Ajit Lakra, Raju William, Suraj and Karunesh Gupta and Devinder Kaur Madaan, President of NGO ‘Save Animal Value Environment’.
The interaction was done to get views regarding construction of sustainable model of JMC Cattle Pound at Seri Khurd, Nagrota as per the directions of High Court.
The NGO proposed to partner JMC to care and maintain the Cattle Pound.
The NGO also gave lot of suggestions regarding setting up of Cattle Pound at Seri Khurd.
The Commissioner, JMC directed Municipal Veterinary Officer to visit the spot along with Volunteers from NGO Dhyan Foundation.
