JAMMU, Feb 5: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee Arun Khanna today undertook an extensive tour of Roop Nagar to review sanitization and other arrangements for upcoming festival of Maha Shivratri where large number of devotees visit Aap Shambu temple.
Councillor of Ward No. 62 Rekha Manhas also accompanied the Chairman during his visit to Roop Nagar including the temple premises and peripheral areas where people hold langars on the pious day.
“All departments like Health, Transport, Floriculture, Electricity and Works were given instructions to ensure smooth conduct of religious gathering on the occasion of Maha Shviratri festival,” a handout said.
