JAMMU, Dec 24: A meeting of Anganwadi Workers of Bhour Camp area was held here today under the chairmanship of Prof. (Dr.) Yudhvir Singh, Councillor Ward 73 of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
The JMC Councillor also listened to the problems of Anganwadi Workers and inspected their working.
After the meeting Prof. Singh along with Kulbir Singh Slathia and S. Charanjit Singh (SDM retired) distributed food items like biscuits, oil, turmeric powder, milts, salt etc to Anganwadi Workers.
Speaking on the occasion Prof. Singh enlightened the Anganwadi Workers on many vital things to improve the functioning of Anganwadis in the area.
Lactating mothers were also present on the occasion and they were made aware about the importance of mother’s milk for the child.
