JAMMU, Apr 10: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Sharda Kumari today started road blacktopping work at Bhadarwahe Mohalla in Ward 47 as the same was a long pending demand of the locals there.
A handout stated that the work is being executed by the Public Works Department wherein AEE, JE, contractor, prominent residents of Ward 47, Vivek Patyal, Dalveer Khalsa, Surinder, Kuldeep, Girdhari and others were also present on the occasion.
After this the Councillor along with AEE and JE visited Ward 47 and its adjoining localities and met the locals who demanded construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of main roads as well as interior lanes etc.
The Councillor assured them that all the genuine demands be redressed in a time-bound manner.
