JMC Councillor starts blacktopping work

JAMMU, May 29: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Pritam Singh today started road blacktopping work at Apna Vihar area of Ward 55.
Dr Vijay Sharma, Suraj Chopra, T.P Singh, Kewal Saini, Surinder Shegal, Neeraj Kumar and other prominent citizens of Ward 55 were also present on the occasion.
The work will cost Rs 30 lakh and is being executed by Public Works Department.
Later, Pritam Singh along with AEE and JE visited Ward 55 and its adjoining localities where the locals put forth various demands of public importance such as construction and renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes etc.
The Councillor assured them that all the genuine demands will be redressed in a time-bound manner.
He further said that development work is going on at Apna Vihar, Kunjawani in Ward 55 is almost complete.
