JAMMU, June 10: JMC Councillor Rajni Bala kick started blacktopping work of Paloura Road from Mohalla Sandh Paloura to Janipur Ambgarota in Ward 60, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the Councillor said that a long pending demand of residents of the area has been met as the same was pending since long.
Rajni Bala asked the Executing Agency to expedite the work and complete the same work on a fast track basis so that the people may not face any inconvenience.
Rajni Bala said that the Congress party is fully committed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for development and progress. She urged upon all the Congress Councillors to deliver according to the wishes of the people.
Later, Rajni Bala met with a large number of people and was apprised of their demands and grievances. She assured the people of the area that all the works related to development will be taken up at the earliest.
Prominent among those who were present include Som Nath Sharma, Tarun Vaid, Ajay Sharma, Parshotam Kumar, Sat Pal Singh Chib, Virender Mehta, Kali, Major Singh and others.
